I bought this plant the year before last. It didn't bother coming up at all last year! So I e-mailed the nursery to complain that it hadn't come up and they said to give it another year, I was pretty pessimistic about this, but I did give it another year and now there are 3 shoots coming up! yippee! Very beautiful plant - I'm gunna plant it with my hostas to give contrast and early interest.

Bought 6-14-02 from Carolyn Wilson's Greenhouse for $2.00. Spreads slow. Right now I have a long row of about 7 plants from underground runner. Nice showy plant for shade garden
