at the moment he has the run of the garden when he is let out of the hutch but i think i will get him a wire run this yr. it would save some of my plants lol

Hey Irish Mr Hash is now losing his coat &turning a darker colour so maybe our Bunnys wont be twins 4 much longer lol

i always go and look at the bunnies at the pet shop and think wot a lovely home i could give them but i can never ever choose one they're all so cute and i feel bad leaving one behind!! if i wait long enough im sure one will find me!

How did I miss this picture? I have some wild bunnies that cross a busy street between my house and the woods just to sample my garden!!lol...neighbour tried to trap them...but he used the wrong bait...he put out lettuces and my bunnies are spoiled on carrots...so no bunnies in their traps...smart rabbits around here. I am sure I'll succumb to the temptation sooner or later...they have lovely lops, like Gerry at the pet store...hmmmm... birds, fish, gecko, dog....could be room for a rabbit!

him and meg have great fun playing together Lori. your house sounds as bad as mine with all the animals lol.. my daughter is planning on getting a chameleon soon, she loves them.

A chameleon...very exciting...Their eyes just make me laugh...and they move sooo slow... delightful... My little gecko is so fast that he's like lightning when he wants to move.. ..feed him dusty crickets and banana and mango...He doesn't get much mango tho..that's a treat..but I swear he smiles when I put it down for him! Can't take much handling...

Dont know if she will get one Lori,,, she needs to save some of her wages first and you know students, they have a hectic social life lol, she did have newts a few yrs ago, they were cute

hahaha.... before you had children, would you ever have considered a newt, cute??? We encountered the same scenario with Gerbils...suddenly rodents were cute..... We decided that life without pets cuts a child off from the natural world and effectively makes them into the people who live their whole lives like humans were the only life on the planet...

i agree completely with you Lori, children who grow up with animals appreciate the living world better. lol also agree that news and rodents probably wudnt be classed as cute, not unless you have them as pets. we have always had animals here, my kids adore them all, even the spiders who live in the house, but who arnt pets lol. even they were given names.
we did have 2 ducks a few yrs ago, really smart birds, they used to come into the kitchen in the morning, get some toast and go back out. sad ending though and i dont think ill ever forget it. local yobs decided to get their kicks with the birds when i was a work, wont go into gory details but that was the end of our beautiful feathered friends. police didnt want to know as it was only birds that were harmed. oops i didnt mean to go on for this long.sorry about the long reply
