A favorite spring bloomer for me is this variety the males bloom! Bright yellow circular catkins with a wonderful sweet floral aroma. Can't believe I haven't noted them before. I'll blog, too many nice photos.

It does, Nelke. These were such gorgeous plants especially amidst all the dark brush that hadn't started up yet.
