just got some hosta myself clarice, so many differant colours, nice

I've put it in a pot & put vasline round top of pot so slugs & snails can't get past the vasline as the slip of it.

mine in ground so hope they are ok,, not had many slugs here fingers crossed, hope its all my birds keeping them down
