Have never actually got round to trying this. I'll maybe do some research, thanks.

USUALLY CUT WHEN ALMOST MATURE AND PLACE IN A PAPER BAG SO THE SPORE IS CONTAINED AND THEN SOW WHILE FRESH AS MOST FERNS HAVE SHORT VIABILITY. SOW ON TOP OF A GOOD SEED RAISING MIX OR PEAT MOSS AND KEEP MOIST IN A WARM POSITION (COLD FRAME OR SUCHLIKE) UNTILL AT SECOND OR TRUE LEAF STAGE. aNOTHER WAY IN WARM CLIMATES IS TO SOW ON TOP OF AN OLD HOUSE BRICK SUBMERSED HALF-WAY IN WATER UNDER GLASS. CHEERS.

Brilliant instructions, Floriade, many thanx for taking the time and trouble to give me this. One thing - how do I know when the spores are mature enough? Will they darken in colour? Have never paid attention before.
What else?

My that's really loaded! Do you harvest these and propagate from them?
