You can purchase these but they grow to about 3 metres (10ft) and yes I agree they are very pretty. They are basically a wild rose. I'm not sure they would fit into a small garden like mine but you may have the space.

Only Rosa canina as I put on the photo. I don't know of any other.

I believe you can keep it pruned shorter than its 10ft height Jacque. They do send up lots of suckers though and the hips produce thousands of seeds every year which apparently sprout quite easily.

Lovely. How long do they take to come into flower? I bought one last winter as a bare-root plant and it's now flowered yet. I guess it's just getting established with its root system.
