That was hard Gardengnome. We don't get squirrels in our garden so the bulbs are safe from them. My sister has a problem with them in UK.

Aw well when I plant more this year, I'll take measures (chicken wire over the site) to keep a few for myself. No measure is actually squirrel proof but this one will leave me with a few more bulbs.

I planted a "million" tulip bulbs and the ground squirrels got 999,999 of them and on top of that the one they left never bloomed!
