Doggie area - everyones a winner

Our dogs always used to sit on the patio and only venture onto the grass to kill it with their pee. The rear end of our driveway was never used so I put up a fence, still leaving enough space for two cars at the top end of the drive.. Their area is twice as long as shown in the photo, with beds at the other end where it is shady until 6pm :0). We just hose it down a couple of times a week.
I no longer have to put protection around my plants and re-seed dead areas of lawn and the dogs now get plenty of shade on hot days :o)

Great idea, I used to have 3 bitches, and perminent yellow grass, I now only have one and its not so bad, i keep meaning to add some tomato sauce to her food but keep forgetting !!!!
Ps the sauce is supposed to combat the acid in her water ...

yes it was only the girls pee that killed our grass. We tried the tomato sauce trick but like you we kept forgetting to add it :o(
