Pineapple sage in the sunshine..

Will it survive the frost? We had -5 here last night. Very cold this morning and the weather man says an action replay tonight.

Amazing. Up the road from you, my Pineapple Sage was frosted, a month ago, including the leaves.

Well despite the frost, it is still going!! heaves a sigh of relief!!

Mine got to the very verge of opening its buds and then the frost took the whole lot overnight. Nothing but grey mush the next day. :(

It got caught in places last night, our beautiful mauve one has gone.......

It was bound to happen some time Angela. Now we just have to focus on clearing up ready for next year. Once January is over it will be slowly waking up again. :)

True K........at least we have all the lovely evergreen plants to look forward to...... thank goodness!!
