This peony has red stems that are more sturdy than usual. It needs only a little help to stand upright.

I have a peony in a pot in my front garden, now over a year old but not flowered yet, any ideas ? I luv peonies

If it was a new one, they do take time to settle before flowering. Be patient! Hope it obliges next year.

Wow what a BEAUTIFUL PEONY i have a Red 1 that carried only 4 flowers last year (2007) Hopefully itl have more come this spring : )
