Me too, ours would never last that long, with the amount of winter wet in the South.....

Yes, I guess the winter wet is a big factor with keeping bulbs. The ones I kept and dried off last year are in pots on my patio, and they are just starting to flower now. I don't think I shall keep them abother year...although, it might be worth doing it just to see how they do.
