Doesn't hold its flower heads ad nicely as the previous purple?

Siris, most of them do lift their heads eventually. But they take their time.

thank you people, this one has rather different petals to the others in my garden as they are more pointed, there is also a little hint of pink inside the flower.

It is just like the double lilac speckled one I had in my last garden. Lovely!

The ones which I have put in the raised border are self set plants and all are cream/white with speckles of pink in them all apart from one which is dark red, you never know what colours you will get until they flower. :O)

You never know..my yellows might cross with my dark reds and produce an orange! :))

Mum, the whiteswood galanthus have started appearing, but not many at all. I think they must be a later flowering var. I also think that something has been digging them up. :(

thanks everyone :O)

Maybe a squirrel Karen, or that naughty girl Willow again. lol. they will get better in time, maybe next season they will be up quicker and have multiplied for you. The ones in the garden here are all up and flowering now. Although we have not had that snow shower that you got so maybe we are a bit more sheltered here too. Hope they keep coming up for you. If you need some more just say I will dig some more up and send them on. :O)

Thanks Mum, but No...don't. I remember at Lethnot they took a year or two and then gained strength. I Am hopeful that this will happen here too.

Found a mouse burrow in the raised borders yesterday. Then had dreams about catching them in the loft. This after last week when one caught it's back legs in the trap and kept me awake all night trying frantically to escape dragging the trap. I find this quite hard to deal with. Thankfully they usually put their heads right in to the bait...usually. :((
