The salopettes are very posh, aren't they?! He follows his Daddy around all the time, and joins in all his enterprises. As he is gradually refurbishing a lot of the house, there's lots to do. He loves being out in the garden, as well. Watching him "helping" to plant out beans last year was hilarious!

Grandchildren are all the wonderful things that people told me they would be! We were beginning to think we would never have any, then we got one of each within 18 months of each other. Just great!

I hope your Mum is ok, and that you will soon see your grandchildren again.

I have just admired him when dressed up in tilt (?).

Kilt? It's smart, isn't it? It was hired for the occasion - a friend's wedding. When he is a bit older, his grandfather is going to buy him one to match his Dad's. My daughter has bought him a second-hand one, but because of his age it is far too long, although the waist fits. The kilts are worn at the slightest excuse!

Isn't it extraordinary that kilts are so popular in quite a chilly country?!
