Yes, they used to do that on mine too. It worried me, but there's nothing you can do...except cover the mirror perhaps...for a day or two.

Thanks girls, unfortunately when they are not hurling themselves at the mirror, they are throwing themselves at the conservatory windows, I really do not know what has got in to them this year? never had this problem before, almost impossible to cover up K it is hidden behind branches, this was taken with a long zoom lens......

Just have to make sure they get plenty of high energy food to keep them going then A!

Lovely picture DD. We have just started having a pair of blue tits visiting the garden and looking at the nestbox.

A lovely photo Angela ,our blue tits have been investigating the nesting boxes in out garden,l I shall be looking out for a little mirror to hang in the bushes :o)
