Hi Karen, yup spreading well now, it should also propagate by spores but I split a few bits off last autumn too and set with new host willows :-)

I have tried to nominate this for GOY-paedia, but there is no appropriate page.

I requested one for parasitic plants (which could also include mistletoe) but was told there are no plans to change GOY at present :-(

Hello Dorjac, I dont know and no missed the programme.

OK Andrew, thanks for trying.

Hello Amy, I thought I'd told you about this.

I was reading a website a couple of years ago about loads of different things to do with willow and one suggestion was grow this on the root. Then I tried to buy some, but none available to buy until good old Ebay helped me out. I bought it from someone who had it growing in his woodland. I've since spoken on the phone to him and he says his has spread loads with patches as big as table tops, I hope it does spread naturally but I know I can move around too.

You may have told me Dawn you know my brain is like a sieve Lol , gosh wouldn't that look stunning if it grew to that size ,it obviously doesn't harm the tree or we would have heard more about it .......

Lol Amy, its my memory that's the worry. No, apparently no harm to the tree but I wouldnt mind anyways.
