A typical Orchid Cactus flower will last about 4 to 5 days. The short blooming period is sure worth it isn't it ?

Mikec,
It was wonderful, will it bloom again soon and will it have more blossoms
next time? Guess I need to research them as my Mother in Law didn't
know what it was when she gave it to me. I thought it would open up.

I have a Red Orchid Cactus, and I love it. Yes the blooms only last a couple of days and it surely is worth it. I have given out hundreds of cuttings. Everybody loves this cactus. Once it starts blooming in the spring it blooms most of the summer right into the fall. Simply Beautiful.
