found this strange coloured orchid...it was the least damaged of a bad lot and the store (grocery) that sold it didn't know what it was worth...they charged me $25. It has been fed coloured water (like some mums) and being a white phal it takes up the colour into it's blooms, leaves and stems! From the label it's a Blue Diamond, colorfuze orchid. It will get only good water from me! Don't know if I like this idea or not.

I love the new blues (even though it is just dye and they are getting a little crazy with the dyed flowers I think). I found the oddest colors finding valentines flowers. Still sounds like a good price for a blooming orchid and looks like a healthy phal.

it does seem healthy and it's very large. I thought the water might have been treated with more than just dye.
