oooops! why do they always ignore the toys and want something they cant have!

21 Feb, 2013

No, not at all! I bought in Ikea a rat, made from fleece. He loves him, namely he loves its tail :)) I think these dogs were originally breeded for catching rats... :)

21 Feb, 2013

oh thats good then!

21 Feb, 2013

Thanks God, he is sleeping now ;-)

21 Feb, 2013

dear little thing! has he learned his name now do you
think? or maybe your tone of voice?

21 Feb, 2013

I think he reacts more to Chuck then to Norris :)) It is more resonant..

21 Feb, 2013

sometimes a two syllable word is easier to call over a distance though?

21 Feb, 2013

I am sorry Sticki, would like to chat with you, but must switch off the lamp now, as one eye is watching me...lol....to prevent disaster. Good night :)

21 Feb, 2013

22 Feb, 2013

Paul@:)) He is "innocent trouble maker", lol.

22 Feb, 2013

Yes, I know the look of innocence on their faces! As if they weren't capable of such mischief!!

22 Feb, 2013

They are innocent, they are like human babies.

22 Feb, 2013

hmmm babies and puppies dont stay innocent for long!

22 Feb, 2013

Do you think so.

22 Feb, 2013

i know so! i worked with children for a long time!

22 Feb, 2013

Oh yes, people change, but dogs stay loyal all their life, no wonder how bad is their master.

22 Feb, 2013

He's such a darling katarina, i want to kiss him :) I miss having a dog..

22 Feb, 2013

23 Feb, 2013

Thank you, Lindak :) My mother is afraid he would be a gangster :)

23 Feb, 2013

no he wont be ~ you will bring him up to be a gentleman!

23 Feb, 2013

You know how it is in life, Sticki. For one gangster, for one loving head of the family :))

I have never watched that film!

24 Feb, 2013

No? That was a greatest gangster film I ever saw. Unfortunately, Americans are not able to make a good gangster films anymore. I think French are better in this sort of films now.

24 Feb, 2013

Probably just not my sort of film?

24 Feb, 2013

I do not like modern gangster films, full of blood, car races and simple dialogues. But this was a FILM, perfect dialogues and very well copied behaviour of big bosses. Worth to see it, it has some eternal truths in it.
By the way, when I was in Sicily, in the hotel where I was accommodated, there played each evening a guy, who in winter works in Teatro Massimo di Palermo, where the famous last scene of The Godfather III was made.

I am sure, you know also this music. It was a hit for years in radios.

oh i like the music!

its still being played on 'Classic FM'

i will watch the clip in a little while when im on my own!

24 Feb, 2013

the first clip has beautiful music ~ i love it, very stirring! and the theatre is amazing ~ looks like a brilliant event to have been at.

also great music in the second, i like it very much

this is the symphony hall ~ the nearest concert venue to me:

That sounds like very ingenious architectonic project, Sticki. I liked how they solved noise from the train line...I like projects like this. Did you ever hear about the Church of St Barbara in the Czech republic? It is built on a bubble...

24 Feb, 2013

the symphony hall is modern yet beautiful, i love it!

St Barbara's church also looks very beautiful, built on a bubble?

Have you ever read 'Pillars of the Earth' by Ken Follet

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pillars_of_the_Earth

I found it fascinating ~ the author was interested in why and how they built the early cathedrals and he has spun a story around it.

24 Feb, 2013

No, I have never read it, but I remember that my teacher of English in 1993 was reading it.
The St Barbara´s Church had been built for centuries. And because the town was famous in Europe for the silver of the highest quality and the town lived from mines, they exploited resources whenever they found the silver. So far the land under the Church was soon digged out and undermined, and the church remained standing on a very thin layer of rocks under which were empty mines. Pillars started to crack, so enginneers in 20th century had to made beton injections below the church.

24 Feb, 2013

I noticed the bit about the mining, there are houses here that are built near mines ~ not very safe! But sometimes you dont get told all that you should be when you buy a house.

24 Feb, 2013

Oh yes. After 1989 arrived to Czechoslovakia a Canadian businessman. He bought "lands", which were in fact large rubbish dumps. He let covered them with thin layer of soil and sold them later for horrible prices to nouveau rich.
Because I worked for ecological movement in eighties, I know that all sorts of toxic waste were dumped there. Now they have villas there, large gardens. Ticking bombs.

24 Feb, 2013

that is horrendous! and no doubt the crook has managed to escape or cover himself against complaints

24 Feb, 2013

Some of those who own villas over there are maybe similar crooks, doing bad thngs to others thus making lot of money, too. It is not my matter to judge them, however, it makes me think of an old true - "your past will sooner or later reach you".

24 Feb, 2013

You have a 'strong sense of justice' kat! As I do!

24 Feb, 2013

Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked...? :)

24 Feb, 2013

Interesting saying, never heard that before. Must remember it.

24 Feb, 2013

This little 'gangster' will be fine as long as you're the boss and teach him to be a good and obedient fella Michaella.

25 Feb, 2013

:))
He will be OK. He learns very quickly.

25 Feb, 2013

Years ago we trained father in laws little puppy and it's amazing how quickly they can learn too Katarina. I can remember the sore hands from the puppies little teeth too.......

26 Feb, 2013

This one doesn´t bite me so much. He is even very gentle, when I sometimes take him up to my bed in the morning from his basket, he interposes his head between my chin and neck and stays like that without movement. He bites only when we both got crazy during games. He is little highbrow.

26 Feb, 2013

How sweet is that Katarina.
