That is about the extent of my spanish knowledge. Even with schooling in Texas and Southern California I just was never interested in learning to speak it.

I found this pic from last year. I had so many chillis, which I dried, flaked, powdered, etc. Since then, have learned that strings of chillis have been regarded as a form of protection from witchcraft (much the same as garlic garlands in Europe offered protection from vampires). Thus, I'll be doing same with our end of season chillis, so that our "Prairie" chillis will not only remind Dorothy of home, but will be an additional protection from the Wicked Witch of the West - Hehe!!
