Oh Wow! Forgive the flippant remarks about Vermeer's cabbage earlier: this is the works! Very, very nice.

Not right yet Gattina... I will have another go later in the week.

Fabulous light on this one, could be one of the Old Masters! Wouldn't they have enjoyed photography today....

8 Jan, 2012

janey have a look at the other one, i like it better!!!

8 Jan, 2012

Yes me too Sticki, they're both beautiful though aren't they, you'd be great at window dressing Pp, do they do window dressing anymore??

8 Jan, 2012

I used to manage a French soft furnishing boutique that had four large windows to dress. It was never ending!

8 Jan, 2012

Ah, well you haven't lost your touch Pp, I bet you really enjoyed working there.

8 Jan, 2012

I love both the pictures, but maybe this one has the slight edge - it could be the incredible colour and light of that pottery jug, and the folds of the Ikea tea-towel that does it.

8 Jan, 2012

Haha, Gattina.....Ikea tea-towel? How can you tell? In this Old Masters picture, it must be a piece of fine Dutch linen!!

9 Jan, 2012

Oi...Look how white that tea towel is...Spotless never been sullied by a damp dish, and all you do is mock!

I thought I left the label showing and the camera was that sharp...That's me best tea towel.
