OOOOhhhhh... now you tell me all that slogging wasn't worth it!...I dare you! That is absolutely perfect...sorry you lost a fish...my three little survivors seem to have settled in...I bought some elodium and they proceeded to eat every scrap!! I love a natural looking pond...now I'm wondering why I wanted the black reflector... too late now...I understand exactly what you feel...been there.with the back pain and dehyration ..lol. It is a great relief and a source of satisfaction...You did a wonderful job (both of you) Congratulations!!!

Thanks everyone ! I just about bit off more than I could chew, as the old saying goes ! Hope I don't have to do it again anytime soon, I'll have more sense next time and do it in the spring or fall of the year !

It really does repay you for all that digging and rock carrying. Looks wonderful! You (and the fish) will enjoy it so much. :-)

Very nice fishpond, very artistic and much nicer than so many I've seen. This really is an eyecatching feature in your garden I think. Looks like you have pebbles on the bottom. I have river stones, not difficult to clean but I have a lot of algae on the bottom and sides. The water is clear though and the fish are thriving. Nice to peep into your garden, thanks!
What else?

It looks great. The rocks look like they have always been there. Very natural looking.
