A job well done.

A job well done.

Roger started to make this path of wood stepping stones 2 plus years ago. Today he finished it. It starts from our main brick path and goes round in a big loop to join the bottom of the main path. Here you see the first bit of the new section which goes from our left side Pergola to the lower Arch.

Looks gr8, but i'd be very careful that they don't become slippy when wet. I know that i slipped on a wooden cover in a pathway, it was just like slipping on ice. Perhaps yours are treated with something?

I have the same comment as Mark - we have wood strips at the edges of our driveway, and I've slipped on them (more than once) getting out of the car in the rain. Your 'stones' really do look lovely though...

We have had the first part of the path in place for 2 years and it hasn't been a problem. They are treated with anti fungus, so don't know whether this makes a difference, They are made of false Acacia which is a hard wood. We also have a brick path to walk on as the main route through the garden. Our main "slippy" problems are in snow and ice which we can get a lot of, but then we are not gardening in those conditions.
