This is how My Peony was ment2look Janette but the Label was Rong it was just a Single Pink Bloom :( But yours is So BEAUTIFUL :)

Wow 8yrs old :O & its so full of buds still 2 open yet ! How long does it flower till Janette?All the peonys iv had have finished by end April :(

The blooms dont last to long Jacque couple of weeks at the most even less if the weathers bad

Its lovely now but I hate it when it starts to fade goes all brown and horrid As soon as they start to go over I deadhead them quick

My Sarah B. is still in tight bud...can't figure it out...because the white peonie I have (can't remember it's name at present) is already out in lovely smelly gorgeous blossom... The foliage looks sturdy and healthy so guess I'll just have to be patient...

I think that is the plantsman's folly.. they always change the essential nature of something to get what they think is something better...when they succeed it's nice ...but... part of growing up is learning the lesson about accepting and valuing someone or something for what they are; not what we wish them to be. June is special because it is peony time, and they are long lived...so we get to enjoy them for decades, but only in June!!
