I've never tried eating them San although I can't see any reason as to why you shouldn't .. sometimes I grow an assortment of all different shapes and sizes but this year I have all the same .... One year I had them growing up the holly trees they looked strange and difficult to reach the top ones as well .......

No you're not Leigh ! your head might be but your'e not ....LOL....

A waterfall would be great with the living wall , you wouldn't have to keep watering it ... :o))

thats just what i thaught but realisticly i think you would have to have plants that dindnt mind the conditions damp but i think youd have to water them . the more i hink about it the more different ideas i think of so watch this space . take care bye for now amy xx .

Love these Amy ... my mum used to varnish hers ... whole bowlfuls! I haven't really seen them since in anyone's garden so thanks for the nostalgia!!

They look lovely Amy. They're lovely roasted. I used to peel them first but Daughter said there was no need. Just cut them and take out seeds, cut into chunks, put in ovenproof dish, salt and pepper to taste, sprinkling of herbs, and drizzle of Olive oil. Tasty. :o))

Thanks Linda , I didn't know that , you would think the skins would be too tough wouldn't you ... I like roasted vegetables thats another one to try ! :o)

I've never actually tried your variety, but I do the same with Butternut squash and their varieties. The skin softens (like chewy) and helps to keep the flesh in one piece. My Daughter had me doing it, after a visit to her house. Now I do what I call a healthy mix.And it saves on the cooking pots. lol. 1 casserole dish, cut into chunks, courgettes, carrots, parsnips, squash, marrow, onions, potatoes(these need to be cut a bit smaller), seasoning, herbs and a drizzle of oil. Just roast in oven, when your'e cooking your meat, like you would if you were roasting potatoes. Saves on fuel too. My Daughter even does swede and things as well. :o))
