Pretty, Wylie! It's illegal for us to grow them here in Arizona, but I still like to look at them.

People around here get it confused with the weed and are afraid to plant it. Even though I have had it for several years, always in a different place, they still aren't convinced it's different from the weed ( which is one of those plants impossible to get rid of ).

Here in AZ, it's illegal to plant any species of Ipomoea--even the native ones--and all species of Convolvulus, except C. mauritanicus and C. cneorum. I would be amazed if C. tricolor would be a problem like bindweed, but that is the law. Oh, well!
