Interesting, I have these on my fence in light purple, very pretty Chrispook. Is it a creeping plant?

Wow, hasn't got too cold for you at all yet, it seems. Wonderful long fall.

Very rich. I'd say the camera was a good purchase.

Only a few of this colour made it through the summer. I had more success with the pink ones.

Thanks Jacque! The flowers are quite pretty but were disappointingly small and did not really stand out from the foliage like the regular trumpet shaped ones do, so I won't be growing them next year(unless they self seeded from the hanging baskets).

I agree with you. I love variety but I am a bit of the artist too so I am too much of a perfectionist. I have a finished picture in my head and I'm determined to see it through even if it takes me years. I only have a couple hours a day I can work on anything. (when my Mom sleeps in the afternoon)

I remember these from a Queensland beach camping trip a few years back - you don't want to get your foot caught on those stems. Thanks for providing the Latin name - much nicer than what I called them after they'd sent me sprawling in the dark!

Very pretty blue.
Maybe this is why your campanula wasn't eaten by the slugs...
They were too busy chewing away at your Ipomoea !

I guess I am so used to being water logged here Chris! lol

I had quite a few in other spots that didn't make it. Some suffered in the dry hot spells if we didn't get enough water to them.

That looks lovely and makes a great feature of the tree trunk!

There's just no telling. That morning glory may sit there like nothing's happening now, but before you know it, you'll have to trim it! if not then like you say do it until something happens! lol

Thanks! I was passing by & had to take a photo, they looked so pretty. It was kind of breezy that morning, but they didn't turn out too blurry! lol

One of my most favouritest plants. Never got round to planting any this year unlike you Chris.
Heavenly blue it certainly is and you have captured the colour beautifully.

Thank-you! My gardens are not structured and I don't do mass plantings which drives some of my friends crazy, I just love to see a variety of flowers pop up everywhere. The 'Christmas Morning' effect of planting randomly, lol!

Thanks for all your comments. This is one of my most favourite pics ever. I think the light shining through the base of the flower makes it look quite unreal. Maybe that's why it's called Morning GLORY.

Yes Panther it is a climber, but annual of course. By now in late November the frost has killed them and they are all gone.
