Dicentra and Hostas Pictures by Sid
Dicentra and Hostas
My Hostas are all coming along nicely and are a lovely backdrop to the Dicentra, which has bounced back after being damaged by the late frost.

Nope - never had a problem! There is an old abandoned pond under the hedge just out of shot and it is home to a large number of frogs, so i think they must gobble up all the slugs in this part of the garden. Also, there is a thrush that has a 'thrashing stone' near these Hostas. The baddies don't stand a chance!!! ;-)
What else?
See who else is growing Dicentra spectabilis (Bleeding heart).
See who else has plants in genus Dicentra.
