Lovely. They dont seemed to be staked are they shorter and or sturdier? I love mine but the wind snapped some off last week and I get bad rust. So wouldnt mind trying these.

What delightful colours....

Thanks:-)
They're over 6ft Drc but are in a fairly sheltered spot, never have to stake them here but do in other areas, they certainly don't get rust as bad as some I've grown, so well worth growing, theres a really lovely yellow and also a cream one.

Simbad: Will they come up each year?

Yes I've had one lot of plants I wasn't very impressed with Tommymoo, but never any problems with seed, and the Tree Peonies were wonderful:-)

21 Jul, 2010

Oh I remember that! Your tree peonies were from T+M! Good to have endorsement to buy seeds from them by an expert like you :-)

Tommy: Have you started sowing yet? I've spent all afternoon potting on, takes forever but all part of growing from seed.
I've been potting on my gunnera plants that I grew from my own seed - if anyone wants gunnera seeds, please shout.

Hi Kathy, well, not massive, I'll keep them potted up over Winter and hope to plant out next Spring, I've counted them today, I have around 50, lol. That's fine, they can go all around the pond.
