I moved these irises a year and a half ago from a very shady part of the garden, am thrilled to see so many buds!

Mine have all got buds on for the first time since I bought them (about 2 years), yes it is thrilling to see the big fat buds and they seem to develop so quickly! I'm off on holiday some time within next fortnight for 2 weeks, I'm so worried I'm going to miss them flowering :-S

These are one of the most vigorous plants in my garden too. They survive being trodden on, accidentally cut down and the heat.
