I put this one out in the garden San , it walked up and down for a while and then climb a daffodil leaf .. that back body part hardly seems to be joined to the front body part at all , it looked as though it could easily break away ........

He wasn't ever so horrible Suey .
He was struggling to get out of the tray and was sliding on the plastic , Thanks Eileen , the only problem now is that I don't know where he is , I shall have to keep a look out I don't want him to sting me !

Looks like he's having a drink, Amy. I can't recall that I have ever seen one before.

What a great pic Amy! These poor insects are so underrated, they are
quite harmless if left to their own devices...they do a good job in the garden
by eating Aphids and Predators. I feel sorry for anything that has a sting
or unfortunate to be scary looking, first thing people seem to try to do is
kill it, just like the Wasp, they have a right to their short life....Thanks!
Amy for rescuing this poor Hornet, although you could have got stung
doing it.....: >))

Thanks Fp.. . I couldn't leave any animal /insect struggling , I find that on the whole if you leave them alone they will leave you alone , they do more good than harm , the world would be much poorer without our little friends . :o))
