Was this the orchid with fungal problem? Sorry to hear this!
When orchids or plants have fungal or bacterial problems here...I just stick them in the sun...usually, the sun will take care of the problem...or spray them with fungicide.

My wife read up on it and they said it was best got rid of to avoid infesting the
others..
