Hazardous driving in Winter rain????

LOL...thanks folks...I realized this is just more rain to you folks in UK but...over here it's so far from the norm that we are in awe. four days after this our temps took a dive...and we were driving in whiteout conditions... whiteout is worse than rain because ice builds up on the pavement from traffic...it's hairy driving in that stuff!
