I have the black knight buddlia which, I thought I'd lost before and after planting in conifer border but it's settled in the past 2 weeks and seems to have really taken so I'm well chuffed.

Do you just leave them do their own thing over winter?

thats good Dan, yes i think they are strong enough, just trim if get out of hand after flowering
