You need hands..........

Just a quick one all!

I’m guessing many of you, like me, have big or clumsy or awkward or all 3, hands and find it a tad difficult to sow the very small seeds as they are too small to pick up and seperate.
Well, today I was planting some mixed Aubretia seeds and had this exact problem again until I tried the following and it worked for me so, maybe it could work for you too.

I simply poured some seeds into my hand and then used one of the plastic name sticks to scoop some up on and then dropped them into said place off the end of the stick.

Simple, but VERY effective!!

Try it and it may work for some of you :0))

I'm sure that some will say "now why didn't I think of that" I do something similar but I use dental tweezers instead of the label. never tried it with Lobelia though :-))))

good idea
my solution was to use some paper sticky tape and place the seeds on the tape and then bury it.
if the seeds are too close together then they are easily removed with a stick or knife and replaced
seemed to work as i got strikes 3 inches apart and was able to transplant the ones i did not need in that row.
better than masses of plants growing and having to discard most of them

Yes Ma'am! Sure will....lol!

Ali picked the seeds up cheap in a bargain bucket somewhere on her travels to and from work so it will be interesting to see what appears but I will def let you know TT.

Never thought of tweezers Heron and as for the tape PD, sounds intriguing!

an alternative is to mix the seeds with a cellulose wallpaper paste and put the paste in a syringe and then lay a line of paste down
