hi everyone, i found GOY this morning quite by accident, its brilliant as i love looking at plants and talking about them, my favourite job is taking cuttings and watching them develop…. my garden is quite small and it is packed with my favourite plants, dahlias, i just love them…… as long as they are not pale pink…..dont care for any pale pink flowers…thank you all for your lovely comments and hope to get to know everyone…..bye

hi Mookins, i dont really have any dwarf dahlias... i like to grow the big types, but i cant wait to see your early bird dwarfs when they flower....

Maybe you can tell me why my new 'Bishop of Llandaff'' tubers are not sprouting, while 'David Ward' is up and flourishing? I am getting impatient!!!!

welcome to GoY too. its a great site. do you like P denticulata then? i love the mauve but do have the red and white forms too.
I too am growing dahlias like park princess, crazy love and a few others that my daughter grew from seed 4 yrs ago. all those were a sort of elsatoplast pik colour, she was so disappointed. they are still growing strong.

welcome to GOY,
im a newbie to here and the whole gardening world. My first seeds I planted are dahlias, early bird dwarf if that is right, do you have any pictures of these?
