could be that another family have "adopted" her just for a while..xxx

We would love to think that Terrtoonie but she is such a feisty cat they would have a hard job keeping her .I have asked the bairns that know her to look out for her as they might know different places in the area where she might be.By the way how is conker as I cant get to the bottom of your blog.

Good idea to ask everyone to keep a look out for Smokey. Yes, thanks, Conker is getting quite perky again... having a little trouble getting that cheek abscess area to clear up completely, but I'm sure it will be okay in time...

I'm so sorry to hear that there's no news yet. Try not to think the worst, Mavis. Those cats you read about weren't anywhere near you, after all.

When our neighbour's cat went missing for 6 weeks the local children saw her from the school bus as it went thru' the village.I then went up to that place & found her bedraggled & thin but fine. She was only about half a mile away from home but seemed disorientated maybe because we think she may have initially jumped into the back of a van at her house.
So take heart Mavis...miracles do happen & cats do turn up.
It may be worth you asking the kids on the local bus & the driver to keep an eye out?xx

I could do with a miracle Fluff its nights like this when its cold and windy and the other two are tucked up nice and warm that she is at the front of your mind.

Its so awful what some People will do to Cats i do hope little Smokey comes home very soon 2 put your Mind @rest u must be feeling so awful rite now :( Big Hug Jacxxx

Thanks Jacque, The worst is the not knowing if something bad has happened to her it would be better if we knew that,but we live in hope.

I've heard of cats being poisoned in a village a few miles from here. I wonder why anyone would do that ?

I wonder as well Hywell it seems to be every time you pick up a paper there is an article about cats being poisoned.

I think its just me Sanbaz cats are very much on my mind at the minute , and it seems that the two papers I read both had articles about cats being poisoned.The incidents happened in different areas one in Ayrshire and one in Lincoln.I dont think I will read any more papers for a while.

it does happen, like you said when anything on your mind thats not good its then everywhere you turn ;o(
