There are many house and garden plants that are poisonous to dogs, here are some of the most common ones:
amaryllis bulbs
asparagus fern
azalea
cyclamen
daffodil bulbs
day lilies
delphiniums
foxgloves
hemlock
hyacinth
hydrangea
ivy
laburnum
lilies
lily of the valley
lupins
mistletoe
morning glory
nightshade
oleander
poinsettia
rhododendron
rhubarb leaves
sweet pea
tulip bulbs
umbrella plant
wisteria
yew and some berries, mushrooms and toadstools
If your dog chews or eats any of these, seek veterinary help immediately

This is not an exhaustive list. My animals have never eaten anything but grass, but best to be cautious..have a great day with love from Maggie Muddyboots

Never had one get poorly from anything growing in the garden apart from Morgan our choc/lab, he was very poorly about 4yrs back, we think he'd eaten too many apples as he was raiding them as I was picking them up, the vet said he thought it was the bruised one that caused it, he left them alone for a couple of years afterwards but last year took to eating the odd one again he had however learnt a lesson and didn't try and gorge himself, I clear them up very quickly now...We used to have a golden retriever that always dug the clematis and ate the roots, even killed a rose bush by doing the same thing....
