This is lovely, Penny is definitely smiling! Wish I looked like that when I got out of the bath! Your tulips are a gorgeous colour they must look great with the forget-me-nots! I think your peach flowered plant is a Chaenomeles, or flowering quince, it's lovely!

Your plants all look as if they are doing well, especially the clematis, which has so many buds on it. It will be a lovely sight when they are all out.

Isn't it nice this time of year to see everything growing back :) Your tulips are lovely.
The one you thought was a pyracantha is Chaenomeles like Libet said.
Nice to see your pets keeping you company in the garden :)

thanks libet and hywel,i was sold the plant as a pyracantha and waited for the berrys, its got pretty peach flowers, does it grow big as i need plants that cover fences

Yes it grows to quite a size and is good for covering a fence. However it is not evergreen like some pyracanthas are.
It has big fruit like shapeless apples. They are called quinces. People make jelly or jam out of them I think. I never tried it when I had one though

That was a bargain buy cherry!

Pets are so cute aren't they? My puss Holly is always watching over me from a safe distance when I'm in the garden .... surely to make sure I'm not 'skiving'!

hello lainedru, tilly is 3 wks older than penny and they sleep and play together all the time, unfortunatly i think penny thinks she is a cat as i have three cats(satsuki a burmese and ophelia a main coon) and they do bully her a lot lol

Oh to look like Penny having just stepped out of the Bath, a real cutie.
You have a lovely choice of plants and the tulips are beauties.
