is a sight,ive now been in the house a year and got to know whats good or not,and the right side of my garden is not,its boggy and for some reason the grass grows funny and bits of lawn keep dyeing off,so im going to cut the square into a circle and edge it with bricks and grow a cherry in the middle,i dont want bare earth around it so do you all think bark will be ok,and i think it will make a brill hosta garden(loooove hosta,s now i can go mad buying them mwahaha)ive not used bark and dont want to gravel it all,what do you all think,chris

I also think bark would be nice, especially since you're going to plant a cherry there. It will look nice around the tree. Hostas like damp places so they should give a good show.

I think bark would be absolutely fine. Can't see why it wouldn't.
