finished the laminate, and thanks all for your support in this trying time,im hobbeling around like a little old lady as ive hurt myself getting up and down two million times(felt like it)and ive hurt my bad hip, thanks to my son michael who surprised me with a day off work to help me put it down,i dont know how but i measured it all and still have four boxs left so i might do my bedroom with it,it does look lovely but penny doesnt like it as she cannot do her mad rush on it and skids all over lol, chris

Well done! Now's the time to sit back, rest that hip, and open a bottle of something nice! :o)

Congratulations on your "stick-to-it" attitude, Chris. You have managed to finish off the job that just was not going to defeat you!!! Hope your hip soon settles down...take it easy for a bit before you start with your leftover laminate in the bedroom!

thankyou all,its taken 7mths to get the floor done and now its starting to look like a home,im so pleased with it,ive put the four packs aside until i save again and get some more,i thought it would be an expence but worked out at least a £100 less than carpet and so much cleaner and ive noticed warmer too, chris
