Move in day

As inpired by treesandthings I had constructed a “fairy door” back in February. The plan was that Astilbe and family would move into my garden this spring. But where in my garden will they live?

Then guess what??? I found Astilbe!!!! so now I have to find somewhere for her to sit. Hmmm!!! the wheels are turning…think…think…think.

Yesterday at a family gathering (weinnie roast) I found Astilbe’s seat. :)))

With the addition of Ipomoea batatas (blackie Sweet potato vine) and Lysimachia nummularia (goldilocks) her home is now in front of some Pennisetum setaceum rubrum (purple fountain grass) and beside one of my wine and roses Weigela.

At this time the Fountain grass isn’t tall enough to be seen…but it will be :)))

So today was move in day for Astilbe, her husband Nasturtium and their children Snowdrop and Snapdragon.

The weather was beautiful for the move.
