Our pavement and side road have only been gritted once since the snow started, it is nigh on impossible to walk any where.

Mad

What first class stupidity! She could have been there with her umbrella until it thawed. She'd have been better off with a spoon!

30 Dec, 2009

thanks hywel its starting to thaw a bit now..
ha ha mad your right there it took them an hour & a half to get up the street a 2 min walk instead of parking at the bottom of road...:0)))

We have rain, rain and yet more rain here. No snow - thank goodness!

Why didn't they walk? Too scared to leave their car elsewhere?

All gone here thank goodness.

Hmmmm..... I was with you on the vulture and golden stone Hywel, but I've just got it! LOL I don't blame her husband for staying in the car, he doesn't want to appear mad too!
Yes 2 days of solid rain here too Spritz, yesterday I saw someone riding a bike in the wind and rain with an umbrella up! Mad people round here too. LOL
Rain has only just seen off the last of the impacted ice, no gritters on side roads or pavements here either :o((
