SOMETHING SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN HAVING A NIBBLE AT MY ANEMONES…... IT WASNT UNTILL I TOOK THESE PHOTOS THAT I FOUND OUT WHO….............

AFTER TAKING THIS I SAW IT HAD BEEN NIBBLED.

SO TOOK THIS ONE WHEN IT WAS CLOSING…..

THEN ENLARGED IT A BIT…............

CAN YOU SEE WHO IS NIBBLING MY FLOWERS TUCKED AWAY IN THERE…........

Ooooh, naughty thing!!! What did you do with him? Would it turn into a butterfly? I must admit, I wouldn't know what to do myself, in case it was a moth or butterfly? But then, maybe I'd have put it on a plant I'm happy for it to eat instead?

I put him up the top of the garden by the pond......away from my flowers........hopefully he will turn into a butterfly........

Awwww, that was a nice thing to do!! I hope I get lots of butterflies this year. Altho' my new buddlea is a bit on the "small" side, :-(

We had to throw the old buddlea away, as it got too old and leggy and hardly any flowers, when it used to have hundreds. Still, I've lots of other new plants which will hopefully attract the butterflies!

I found out that nettles attracts loads of varieties of butterflies. I've got some seeds from e-bay (yet again!) which I'll throw down when I've cleared the turf out the way!
