Flower stalk appears!!

This photo was taken in France and the temperatures for the next weeks should allow it to fully flower. Pity I'm back in Norfolk now and going to miss the flowers!!! By the time we are in France next time, the flowers will be gone.. All I can see is the "remain" of the flower.. Too bad.. :(
