Bamboo corner

Bamboo corner (Phyllostachys aurea (Golden Bamboo))

Being a bit overtaken by the beech tree outside the garden - casts a lot of shade but the plants here don't mind.

I've been considering bamboo as a wind break..what do you think of that?

Yes, can be a superb windbreak but I'd be very cautious which type I used. Some of them are so rampant you need to contain them with a barrier deep into the soil. I'd take advice from a bamboo specialist.

Thank you I will look into which would be best for my needs...I actually love bamboo...but I do know it can become a problem.
