Blooming Seas Onion: Urginea

Blooming Seas Onion: Urginea (Ornithogalum longibracteatum)

The shortest flower stem and most compact buds, but more lovely than any I've seen yet.

Very nice. Thanks for the name I got this from a neighbor and we didn't know what it was. Mine is planted outside.

Yours must be a variety more upright than this GG, to be ouside? Mine hangs 4-5ft leaves off the loft year round. It has never stood up. I guess mine may stand if it had southern daily sunlight. :-)

Urginea is an old name, it is now the Ornithogalum longibracteatum. Urginea was from when it was grown mainly to treat frequent urge. :-)
