I have one outside DD and it survived several winters . I just looked at it yesterday and it looks fine. Not blooming yet . I just crop it down every year at late summer. It is well established now, in a large pot .
Yours is very young and tender....and beautiful. Mine is not as dark as this. Although, I remember that I had couple of casualties with these young plants when I bought them in small pots late in the summer.
Here is a picture from last summer.

We need to move them under cover really, it is the wet which is the problem here......have grown so many varieties over the years, and lost most of them......even the hardy ones struggle in the our soil....

Same here DD, I lost lots of plants because of the wetness (rains all winter long on Vancouver Island) .
Even now its pretty soggy. Perhaps my survives because it is in a container which drains well. Good luck with your new one DD.

What's your soil like DD?

It is fairly heavy, we only have one small border that is free draining and light, and we grow our large olive tree there......

I bought one of these types of lavender & lost it in the winter, obviously ' buy & die ' plants. Now I stick to plants that are hardy.
