This variegated Aeonium was around 4 feet / 1.2 meters tall growing at Rancho Soledad Nurseries. For my GoY friend Sandra. : >)

This is a common plant here. I never thought this plant resembled a flower head until now. LOL! : > )

What an unusual plant, it looks like its on a spring - bit like a Jack-in-a-box.

Aeonium species usually have that look. This plant was growing at an angle..it may look strange because it hasn't branched yet.

'Sunburst' I had one that fasciated. It grew in the shape of a chicken.
I might still have it...its in a corner of a side yard where I stopped watering last summer.

Yes, Aeonium 'Sunburst' is very common here. It grows pretty tall and then eventually branches. It looks best with a little shade, though. Luckily, it doesn't need too much water.
