I think its thinking "If my bloomin owner ever brings me to a sheep shearing contest again I'll bite him where it will bring the tears to his eyes"

10 Aug, 2009

Hywel, i don't understand why, it's not like their coat gets long is it ? :(

11 Aug, 2009

He looks silly lol

11 Aug, 2009

Poor little thing !

I've seen them in pens at various country shows, the last one was the Bath & West showground i think, could have been the Devon County one though, either way - they're very sweet animals and i always think they'd much rather be anywhere else than in a small pen with people gawping and poking at them.

I know someone who has them at her farm :)

It doesn't make sense to me . People treat animals as if they're toys. They dress them up like dolls or cut their hair. Maybe dogs like it but you can usually teach them to do as they're told. Blodyn would attack me if I tried to do anything like that to her.

11 Aug, 2009

I laughed out loud at that Hywel !!!!!!!
Maddie would do the same to me !!!!!!

11 Aug, 2009

Its an alpaca I think, so its fleece produces one of the finest wools in the world plus they get very VERY hot in climates not high up in the mountains, poor little things.

11 Aug, 2009

spot on Indy, it is indeed a Alpaca.
mind you not much chance of them getting too hot over in this country lol

11 Aug, 2009

Well if they must cut their hair at least they should do it tidy. This poor thing looks daft.
