Are you familiar with Brunnera , Janette. ?

2 Apr, 2009

I cant say I have seen any Bonkers but I think they are something like a forget-me-not .....

They have similar flowers but are perennials - you know how forget - me - nots grow flower then fade as they seed and end up looking a bit scruffy as the original plant dies off having set seed ?

Brunnera maintains it shape each year but sadly doesnt spread like forget - me - nots . Jack Frost has a lovely leaf pattern and if you like forget - me - nots you d love them .

Beautiful picture. I agree with Bonkers regarding Brunnera. A lovely plant for the garden which is really a wild flower. As Bonkers says, it doesn't spread so easily but it can be split and planted around as you wish.

That's so pretty, and it reminded me how much I used to love forget me nots when my eyesight was good enough to focus on their exquisite details. I'm going to have to carry a pair of reading glasses with me when I go garden visiting in future.
